For months, you have been hearing about the fourth trimester. About how hard it is. About how much support new moms need and how rarely they actually get it.
On June 9th, My True Village launches its first tool to start changing that.
It is called the Village Table, and it is completely free.
Your village wants to show up. Now there is a place for them to go.
What is the Village Table?
The Village Table is a meal support tool built specifically for postpartum families. After June 9th, it will live at mytruevillage.com/village-table. It takes about five minutes to set up and gives your village a clear, simple way to show up with food without you having to ask, coordinate, or follow up on anything.
It is not a generic tool repurposed for new moms. It was designed from the ground up for the fourth trimester, with the specific needs of postpartum recovery in mind. And it is completely free to use, for you and for everyone in your village.
How it works: the mom’s side
Setting up your Village Table takes four short steps.
First, you tell us about your family. Your name, your baby’s name if you have chosen one, your email address, your due date, and when you would like meal support to begin.
Then you set your food preferences. Dietary restrictions, foods you love, anything your village needs to know before they show up at your door with a pot of something.
Next, you set your delivery details. Your address, the time window that works best for drop-offs, how often you would like meals (daily, every other day, or weekly), and whether you want to include weekends.
Finally, you create a four-digit PIN that lets you manage your table from any device later on.
That is it. In about five minutes, your Village Table is live. Once it is ready, you get a unique shareable link. You can add it directly to your baby registry on Babylist, Amazon, or any other platform so your village finds it right alongside your stroller and swaddle sack. Or share it directly over text, WhatsApp, or email. However your people find it, it is all in one place and completely self-serve from there.
How it works: your village’s side
When someone opens your Village Table link, they see your full meal schedule with all the available slots, your dietary preferences and any notes you have left for them, your preferred delivery window, and your drop-off address.
They pick a date that works for them, enter their name and email, and choose how they want to show up. A home-cooked meal dropped off with love. A delivery order through DoorDash, UberEats, or whatever they prefer. Or a gift card so you can order exactly what you want, exactly when you want it.
No account required. No app to download. Just a link, a few taps, and a confirmed slot. Once they claim it, they get a calendar invite with a two-day reminder and a same-day alert so nothing falls through the cracks.
What if there is a local provider in your area?
Here is something that makes the Village Table different from anything else out there.
When you set up your table, you will enter your zip code. If there is a vetted local postpartum meal provider serving your area, you will see them right there in your setup flow. You can read about what they offer, and if it feels like a good fit, you can choose to make them available to your village as an option.
If you do, your village will see them listed right alongside the other ways to contribute. Instead of just choosing between a home-cooked meal, a delivery app order, or a gift card, they will also have the option to order from a specialist who makes food specifically designed for postpartum recovery.
Right now, if you are in the Austin or Dallas-Fort Worth area, you may see Perfectly Thymed come up. Perfectly Thymed creates ancestral-inspired, whole-food meal programs specifically designed for postpartum nourishment. Real ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, delivered straight to mom.
This is just the beginning. My True Village is building a network of trusted local providers across the country so that no matter where you are, your village has access to genuinely expert postpartum nourishment, not just whatever happens to be on a delivery app at that moment.
Why this is different
There are other tools out there that let people sign up to bring meals. But most of them were built for any occasion, any season of life. A surgery. A bereavement. A neighborhood fundraiser.
The fourth trimester is none of those things. It is its own season with its own needs, its own timeline, and its own emotional weight. New moms are not just recovering from a procedure. They are rebuilding their bodies, navigating massive hormonal shifts, learning to feed a human being, and doing all of it on almost no sleep.
My True Village was built for that season specifically. The Village Table is designed around postpartum recovery, not retrofitted to it. And beyond the tool itself, this site exists to give both new moms and their villages the resources, the language, and the guidance to actually navigate the fourth trimester well.
And then there is the provider network. No other meal coordination tool connects families with vetted local postpartum specialists the way My True Village does. When a provider like Perfectly Thymed shows up in a mom’s setup flow, her village is not just bringing food. They are bringing the right food, made by someone who understands what a postpartum body actually needs. That distinction matters.
It is free. Completely.
No subscription. No premium tier. No credits to buy. The Village Table is free for the mom who creates it and free for every single person in her village who claims a slot. Always.
Ready when you are
The Village Table goes live on June 9th. If you are currently pregnant or expecting, now is the time to set yours up so it is ready and waiting in your registry when your people start shopping.
If someone you love is about to have a baby, send them this post. Or send them the link directly. The easiest thing you can do for a new mom is make sure her village knows how to find her.
That is what the Village Table is for.
